Jamie O’Hara believes Harry Maguire has ‘achieved more’ for England than legends Rio Ferdinand and John Terry
.Maguire helped England reach the Euros final last summerHis inclusion in the England side may have come as a shock to many considering how little he has played for United this season.
The 29-year-old has started only five games in all competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side, playing just 511 minutes overall. However, when it comes to the national team, Maguire has been an impressive figure for the Three Lions, helping them to reach the World Cup semi-finals in 2018 and the Euro 2020 final last summer.Maguire’s efforts have certainly not gone unnoticed, with talkSPORT host O’Hara now jumping at his defence and claiming he has had more success for England than two of their best ever centre-backs.
, Jason Cundy asked O’Hara: “When was the last time we [England] had a top, top, top class centre-half?” The former Tottenham midfielder responded: “They got to the European final and the World Cup semi-final.
