LAURENCE Fox’s tirade against the journalist Ava Evans on GB News resulted in more than 8000 complaints to the UK’s media watchdog.
Fox was widely criticised for his appearance on Dan Wootton’s GB News programme, during which he made a series of comments about Evans who works as a political correspondent for the news site Joe.
“That little woman has been fed, spoon-fed oppression day after day after day… starting with the lie of the gender wage gap, and she’s sat there and I’m going, if I met you in a bar and that was like sentence three, chances of me just walking away are just huge.“We need powerful strong amazing women who make great points for themselves, we don’t need these sort of feminist 4.0… they’re pathetic and embarrassing.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
