These are your Manchester United evening headlines for Tuesday, October 10.
Manchester United fans are longing for upgrades at Old Trafford, although will still feel it is a shame that the Theatre of Dreams will not be hosting any games at Euro 2028.
The host nations are pushing to go through the qualification process to help them better prepare for the tournament. Scotland are included in that but are concentrating on their upcoming fixtures and are hoping that Scott McTominay can continue his fine international form after dramatically netting twice for United against Brentford on Saturday.
UEFA have today confirmed that Euro 2028 will take place in the UK and Republic of Ireland and Manchester City's Etihad Stadium will host matches in the city, but United were unable to offer guarantees that Old Trafford would be ready in time.
