The regular feature One Big Thank You was back to highlight people who have done good work in their community
Viewers of BBC magazine programme The One Show were moved to tears on Thursday night by an inspirational segment of the show. Each week a feature called One Big Thank You highlights people who've gone the extra mile to help others in their community - and this time it was the turn of a pair of sports coaches.
Holding back tears, One Show host Alex Jones told them: "This is your One Big Thank You - now you've got me going!" And the surprises didn't stop there. Players from the Penguins appeared to greet Vickie and Allan alongside names from the English women's team including former Lionesses Alex Scott and Ellen White.
