Defendant calling himself 'only Scouser in Wigan' denies disposing of Audi that murder victim was driven away in to meet his death
A man involved in the muder trial of Wigan man Christopher Hughes has denied taking part in the aftermath after introducing himself to the jury as 'the only Scouser in Wigan'.

Gibbons said that his neighbour had asked him to pick him up between 9 - 10 pm but he told him that was too late so took him earlier. He said that the whole area was full of rumours about the death of Mr Hughes but said that O’Neill-Davey had not told him anything about the kidnap or murder.
“Did you believe O’Neill-Davey had anything to do with this murder?” asked Mr Travers. “No, I still don’t,” he replied.
