It's finally here!
With Manchester Printworks being one of 30 theatres worldwide showing the 70mm IMAX format, it felt only right to give it a go. The showing started at 11:00 pm and to my surprise, the cinema was full of people.
The 70mm IMAX format was similar to wearing a virtual reality headset. The screen was so big it felt like you were in the room having conversations with the characters. From going to play a hero for over a decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the antagonist of a Nolan film, it was a successful transition for RDJ.
My only complaint about the movie was the length. It was a journey through history however, I find three hours in a movie tedious for myself with similar experiences in The Batman and Avatar Way Of The Water - but that is a preference.
