On the face of it the food looked really promising but the reality was somewhat different
After a good friend raved about The Bay Horse at Osbaldeston in the Ribble Valley I had to try it myself.
We started by sharing two appetisers between the three of us - the Cajun chicken wings and a garlic flatbread with cheese . We had no complaints about the garlic flatbread which was full of flavour and sufficiently cheesy but I wasn't convinced about the chicken wings. On the face of it, and as you'll see from the picture, my chicken breast looked very appetising. My first ever job was working as a waitress at a restaurant in Darwen where the chef would, if they were feeling generous, make me a portion of chips and peppercorn sauce so this is a meal I often pick where it's available.
