‘Our gorgeous girl’: Tributes paid to beauty salon worker killed in Christmas Eve pub shooting ⚫ The victim of the tragedy has been described by work colleagues as ‘the most beautiful angel’
Merseyside Police are hunting a gunman who opened fire at The Lighthouse in Wallasey Village, Wirral, shortly before midnight on 24 December.
A 22-year-old man suffered injuries to his legs, a 24-year-old man suffered an injury to his hand, and a 33-year-old man suffered an injury to his wrist. None of the injuries are life threatening. Eyewitnesses have said the pub was packed with people celebrating Christmas at the time of the shooting, which is believed to have taken place near the entrance.

Detectives have issued an urgent appeal for information about a dark-coloured car, possibly an A-class Mercedes, which left the pub car park in the minutes after the shooting.Speaking of the victim at a press conference on Christmas Day, Det Supt, Sue Coombs, of Merseyside Police, said: “Her family have been informed and today, which should be a day with friends celebrating, they are coming to terms with this tragic loss.
