The baby products company 4moms is recalling over two million MamaRoo swings and about 230,000 RockaRoo rockers amid concerns that their restraint straps can hang below the seat, posing entanglement and strangulation hazards for crawling infants.

The Pennsylvania-based baby products company 4moms is recalling over two million MamaRoo swings and about 230,000 RockaRoo rockers in the U.S. and Canada amid concerns that their restraint straps can hang below the seat, posing entanglement and strangulation hazards for crawling infants.

The MamaRoo is a baby swing that offers multiple motions and speeds. The recall includes only MamaRoo models that use a 3-point harness: versions 1.0 and 2.0 , version 3.0 , and version 4.0 . The product's model number is located on the bottom of the unit. According to the CPSC, the MamaRoo model that uses a 5-point harness is not included in this recall.Stay informed about New England news and weather.
