The owner of a wallaby which was captured after social media footage showed it lose in Co Down last month has been given until the end of this week to come forward and reclaim it.
At the time the animal was caught, Lost and Found Pets North Down said that it had been placed in the care of safe and experienced hands until its owner came forward.In this latest development, a Lisburn equestrian centre who have been looking after the animal, pleaded with the owner to come forward and said that if the owner does not come forward by the end of this week, they will adopt it.
"If there is no claim by the end of the week we will assume that the owner no longer wants it and it will be adopted into the Drennan family.
