Paddy, 50, shared a number of photos of himself and Clare on Instagram
The BBC Top Gear host often posts on social media, giving his many fans a glimpse into his day-to-day life. On Wednesday, he shared snaps of himself with show boss Clare Pizey as he said "I hope".
Images showed Paddy and Clare together, with some including his Top Gear co-hosts Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris. Others also had crew members in the shots.Paddy, 50, said: "This lady kept all us naughty boys in check on @topgear. Gutted you’re leaving us @clarepizey. I hope we get to enjoy a bag of salt and vinegar peanuts and some flumps soon! x #hostesswiththemostess #boss #topgear".
Clare replied: "I’m cooking you a full roast as soon as we have a date Sir xxx". Clare is leaving the BBC after seven years. She took on the position as Top Gear's editorial director in March 2022. A BBC spokesperson said: "With co-Executive Producer Alex Renton, Clare reinvented and re energised the motoring entertainment show with the introduction of Paddy, Freddie and Chris - and she oversaw Top Gear’s hugely successful move to BBC One in 2020.
