Cristiano Ronaldo tries out padel in Singapore and is already labelled ‘greatest player of all time’
Padel tennis is one of the fastest growing sports in the world right now and looks set to boom in the UK.
Butler is a huge fan of the sport and picked up the game from Brazilian football star Neymar, after the two met at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He opened his first Padel Zenter club in 2018 and has seven across Sweden so far, with more planned across Europe in the future.Speaking last year, Sir Andy said: "If you look at how quickly it is growing across the world, I can’t see it being a fad. It’s played all over South America & it’s now the second-highest participation sport in Spain after football.
The deal has unified the sport, bringing together Qatar's Premier Padel tour with the oldest global professional padel tour. “I first got in touch with this sport four or five years ago when I was back in Sweden,” Ashrafzadeh told talkSPORT.
