Barbie film praised as 'painfully funny' as Rotten Tomatoes score revealed
The Barbie film has received an incredibly high score on Rotten Tomatoes as the first reviews start to land.
Other famous stars, including Dua Lipa, Helen Mirren and Will Ferrell, are also in the cast. Much to the relief of those planning to see the film on its opening day tomorrow, the film has received a mostly positive reception from reviewers.The film is a satirical comedy. The plot sees Barbie and Ken moving out of Barbie Land, discovering the upsides and downsides of living in the real world among humans.
Meanwhile, Metacrtic awarded it a score of 81 out of 100 based on 54 reviews, described as “universal acclaim”. Empire described it as “painfully funny” and awarded it four stars.
