Chan Chi Keung, was a registered nurse at the Braemount Care Home, caring for people with dementia in the Donaldswood Road area Paisley at the time the incidents occurred.

A Renfrewshire nurse has been suspended after telling a resident to 'f**** off' and another 'you will f****** die tonight.'

READ MORE: Five suspected Glasgow murderers among over 1600 outstanding arrest warrants being hunted by cops The panel heard how the actions of Mr Chan were 'out of character' and looked at a series of mitigating factors. Including testimony that he is a skilled nurse who actively dedicated time to training other nursing assistants and that he had shown remorse for his actions.

Balancing these factors and recognising that he did not act with malice or shown signs or incompetence - the hearing concluded that he would be suspended for 18 months.
