BREAKING: Paperchase has announced it has gone into administration – placing an estimated 820 jobs at risk.
It’s believed to have 106 stores in the UK and Ireland and 820 staff.
In reports earlier today, Tesco was said to be trying to snap up the Paperchase brand, but not the shops. Begbies Traynor, who have been appointed as joint administrators, said in a statement: ‘Unfortunately, despite a comprehensive sales process, no viable offers were received for the company, or its business and assets.
