A pet parrot flew off on a two-day holiday before being found atGrey the two-year-old African Grey parrot was discovered on a rough sleeper’s shoulder some 20 miles away from his home in Tadworth, Surrey.
Last Thursday, Karlene and husband Jamie were having a cup of tea in the kitchen with their daughter Lexie Marie, 14, and son Callum, 17, when Grey flew out of an open door. He stayed put for a day and the family weren’t too worried, until he got spooked by another bird and disappeared.
