Paul Merson aims bizarre dig at England star after World Cup loss to France – ‘it wasn’t good enough’Paul Merson has aimed a bizarre dig at one England player after Gareth Southgate’s side were knocked out of the 2022 World Cup by France.they were beaten 2-1 in the quarter-finals by 2018 winners France.
