Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight explains how new characters set up the spin-off movie:

Meanwhile, Harry Kirton, who plays a young Finn Shelby, also addressed his potential future, saying:"I'm keen to do it, but… I don't want to tarnish the lovely painting that has been painted by Cillian and the older gents and Steven himself. I would hate to come out with some half-quality sequel – not on their side, but potentially on my side.
