Emergency services attended the scene of the collision near Finstown, where two male drivers and female passenger were left with injuries from the crash.
An 82-year-old woman has died in hospital in hospital following a road crash between two cars in Orkney.
The elderly woman was a passenger in the Discovery and was taken to Balfour Hospital after suffering serious injuries. She was transferred to to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where she died on Sunday, October 16. The road was closed while investigation work was carried out and reopened around 3.30pm today. Police are now appealing for information as enquiries continue.
