The Department for Work and Pensions is urging people of State Pension age not to miss out on an average income boost of up to £3,500 a year through a means-tested benefit designed specifically for older people. DWP recently took to social media as part of its ongoing campaign to raise awareness about Pension Credit, a so-called 'passport benefit' that can unlock extra help with daily living costs including Council Tax, housing and heating bills.
