Three fire crews are in attendance
People have been warned to "avoid the area if at all possible" as fire crews tackle a large blaze in a Nottinghamshire village. Three crews from London Road, West Bridgford and Worksop are battling the fire which involves a large number of hay bales in Radcliffe-on-Trent.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue says the fire crews are expected to remain at the scene for around 24 hours while the incident is dealt with. In a statement, a spokesperson for the fire service said: "Crews from London Road, West Bridgford and Worksop fire stations are attending a fire involving a large number of hay bales off Shelford Rd, Radcliffe-on-Trent and will remain on scene for approx. 24 hours.
