A video has been shared detailing exactly how the fishy sticks are made, with lots of people completely put off the snack after viewing it.
Many love to tuck into a crab stick from time to time, despite the snack decreasing in popularity over the years. But those on the fence about the food have had their mind made up after realising how they are actually made.
The sticks begin as a concrete-like mass, with the crab meat going through a range of processes before it is dyed red and white. The fishy mix is then blended with ice, vegetable oil and sugars before being places into tubes to transform it into a huge whipped, grey pile of paste.
