Paramedics provided an update
An air ambulance landed in a Nottingham park and paramedics were called after a medical emergency. East Midlands Ambulance Service were called at 8.31am on Friday, March 3 to a home in Basford.
The caller reported a 'medical emergency' and in response two paramedics in fast response cars, a crewed ambulance and the Hazardous Area Response Team were sent to the location. An air ambulance also landed in Vernon Park in connection with the incident. One person was taken to Queen's Medical Centre for treatment by crewed ambulance. A EMAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 8.31am on March 3 to a private address in Basford. The caller reported a medical emergency.
"We sent two paramedics in fast response cars, a crewed ambulance and the Hazardous Area Response Team. The air ambulance was also in attendance. One patient was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre via crewed ambulance."
