The ECHO were in attendance as Liverpool striker Peter Crouch has had his say on Mohamed Salah's Anfield future amid big-money interest from Saudi Arabia
Peter Crouch has admitted he thinks that Mohamed Salah could leave Liverpool for Saudi Arabia next summer.
“I think even the most staunch Liverpool and Salah supporter will understand if he does another year ,” Crouch admitted when speaking to a select number of journalists, including the ECHO, courtesy of TNT Sports ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Wolves on Saturday lunchtime.READ MORE: Liverpool may have fast-tracked new young star after bold Jurgen Klopp decision
Despite such intense speculation regarding his future, Salah has enjoyed another impressive start to the season for Liverpool. He has returned two goals and two assists from four appearances, to take his overall Anfield tally to 188 goals and 76 assists from 309 appearances, with the Reds sitting third in the table after an unbeaten start to the campaign ahead of Saturday’s trip to Molineux.
“He got his head down and performed . He didn’t look to me in any way like he was upset or downing tools. “Obviously with my Liverpool hat on, I want him to stay as long as possible because he’s shown no sign of letting up, whatsoever.” “I can’t sit here and try to, I think we all know the reason why people are going there. That’s what it is, that’s not going to change.
