Football for Change is on course to hit £1 million raised at its latest fundraising gala, to be hosted in Manchester on Saturday 18th November
Soul royalty Beverley Knight will perform in Manchester in November to help young people affected by poverty through charitable initiative Football for Change.
Manchester-based Swinton Insurance returns as headline sponsors of Football for Change 2023, while the event is also supported by Shein, who is sponsoring the gala dinner. Footballers, celebrities, politicians and business leaders are all in attendance on Saturday 18th November.
In addition, Football for Change has sent over 100 children on sports and education retreats in the United States of America, re-homed homeless teenagers in Glasgow with the help of patron Sir Rod Stewart, and built an education hub in North Liverpool. Liverpool legend and Sky Sports presenter, Jamie Carragher, said: “It is amazing to have Beverley Knight supporting Football For Change by performing at our annual fundraising gala next month. She is an icon who puts on a brilliant show.
