Police have made an appeal for anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage to come forward
A petrol bomb attack on a home in Co Down could have resulted in "serious consequences", police have said.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Detectives are appealing for information after a house was damaged during a petrol bomb attack in Newtownards on Tuesday night, September 19th. "Luckily no one was injured in what can only be described as a reckless attack that could have resulted in more serious consequences.
"Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at http://crimestoppers-uk.org/."
