The Location, Location, Location star’s mother Anne and father David died in the tragic accident on their family farm in Littlebourne, Kent, while on their way to lunch on Friday
TV presenter Phil Spencer has revealed how his hero brother jumped into the river in a failed bid to save their elderly parents - cutting them free from the upside down submerged vehicle with a penkife.Describing the moments before the accident, Phil wrote: “The car, going very slowly, toppled over a bridge on the farm drive, upside down into the river.
“Although they were both on extremely good form in the days before , Mums Parkinson’s and Dads Dementia had been worsening and the long term future was set to be a challenge. “Three fire engines and a water safety unit attended, and crews assisted SECAmb and made the scene safe.”
