Philippe Clement wants to change Rangers for the good after being appointed last week - but the Belgian insisted he isn't a miracle worker and used Harry Potter as a reference.
The Belgian joins the Gers with the Ibrox club seven points behind Celtic in the title race, dumped ceremoniously out of the Champions League and having lost to Aris Limassol in the Europa League. His only saving grace is that the Govan outfit remain in the semi-finals of the Viaplay Cup, and with Brendan Rodgers' men out of the competition, it represents a real chance for the former Monaco boss to strut his stuff and instantly endear himself to the crowd.
But despite instant gratification being the usual way to win fans over in the blue half of Glasgow, Clement accepts that he isn't going to be able to do so instantly as he gets to grips with a squad that has so far failed to deliver on almost every front so far this season.

That’s the tough balance now coming in during the season, but it’s not my first time. It was the same at Genk and Monaco - when you come in during the season, you need to make a good analysis of what can be better and what is good.”
