The Belgian boss got off to the perfect start in the Ibrox dugout as his side cruised to a 4-0 victory.
The Rangers reign of Philippe Clement got off to a storming start as the rejuvenated Ibrox side took care of Hibs 4-0 with arguably their best display of the season.
Much of the pre-match interest centered on where the players who had looked rudderless under Michael Beale would be deployed and a look at the Hibs team sheet showed that the Edinburgh side had travelled meaning business and full of attacking intent with Martin Boyle and Elie Youan providing width and Dylan Vente and Adam Le Fondre offering a goal threat through the middle.
And right on half time, the second goal arrived. Raskin’s first goal for the club was a cracker, a low fizzing right footer from 25 yards that found Marshall’s bottom right hand corner. Dessers passed up a chance to make it three, shooting tamely at Marshall seven minutes after the break, following good work from Scott Wright. Then the striker laid a chance on the plate for Lammers, who smashed his shot off the post when it looked easier to score.
