She certainly had an air of Sylvie about her on the front row, wearing a draped Grecian-style one-shoulder dress with gold buttons down the arm and along the hem of the skirt. In true Schiaparelli style, Leroy-Beaulieu upped the drama by adding lashings of gold: a giant gold cuff, dramatic gold chandelier earrings and a gold bag with a face motif and ornate “legs”. There’s something almost–esque about the star’s cartoonish handbag, and then there’s the anatomical shoes.
All that is missing is Emily running behind her in gaudy prints and lots of tulle, to make it a scene straight fromThe zany handbag – from Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2022 couture collection – is typical of Leroy-Beaulieu, who previously toldshe likes to have fun with her styling choices. “It’s more about what looks beautiful with a twist, with a sense of humour,” she explained.
