Former This Morning host Phillip Schofield has made a heartfelt apology to his co-star Holly Willoughby as he candidly admitted how much he regrets lying to his friend of 14 years about an affair he had with a younger This Morning staff member.
He told the publication: “I’ve lost my best friend. I let her down . I let that entire show down. I let the viewers down. In the same interview, Phil also revealed that he and Holly are now no longer speaking, with the final nail in their friendship having come when Timothy, Phil’s brother, was convicted for multiple child sex offences last month.
