A popular pie business has spoken out about how the cost of living crisis has affected their business, saying the situation has seen them 'mentally shed so many tears in trying to build our business and name'.
The pair say they're "doing alright at the minute" but as with every other independent business, the cost of living crisis has become a worry. Talking to LancsLive, Gina said: "We're lucky enough to be doing alright, but it is a worry for the businesses we supply to."If our customers are struggling and close, then we close too. So far, we've had two that have shut and a few are struggling with their bills.
"We have worked far too hard to struggle now and we are now even more determined to grow our business."
