Enzo Ferrari's son Piero and Mattia Binotto are among the Ferrari figures to pay tribute to the team's legendary F1 designer Mauro Forghieri. 🗣 'We have lost a part of our history, a man who gave a great deal to Ferrari and to racing in general.'
Forghieri is widely regarded as one of the key players in the history of Scuderia Ferrari, having been aHis stint with the company lasted from 1959 to 1987, encompassing some of its most memorable successes. He is credited with an involvement in 54 race wins and 11 world championships.“When I joined the company in 1965, I shared an office with Cavalier Giberti, Ferrari’s first employee,” he said. “While Mauro Forghieri, taken on a few years earlier, was next door.
