All of the flats would have been one-bedroom
In their report, the council’s case officer said that the flats would result in a loss of employment space, would harm the character and appearance of the area, and fail to provide high quality habitable accommodations or suitable arrangements for waste.
They added: “The proposed quality of accommodation, by virtue of the lack of adequate floor space, ceiling heights, storage space, amenity space, privacy, or outlook fails to provide high quality accommodation for future users."'s design and access statement argued that the proposal would not affect the area as it is already residential.
The three objection comments focused largely on parking issues. Three parking spaces were proposed to go along with the flats.
