The light aircraft dived into the water, ending up perpendicular with its nose in the surf, before settling down the right way up. The impact happened on a stretch of beach where around 600 junior guards were showing off their skills.Footage showed a uniformed lifesaver in distinctive red shorts dashing into the water with a rescue board.Two junior lifeguards Jake Shaffer and Aidan - who did not give a last name - rushed into the sea.Speaking to NBC News, Aidan said:"Jake goes, 'OK, run!' So I start running towards the waterline where the plane is and he grabs a board.
