The unit has been vacant for more than two years
The decision noticed stated the restaurant would"result in an increase in noise, activity and cooking fumes and would unacceptably impact on the residential amenity of neighbouring properties".
Plans to open a restaurant with a takeaway at the site were previously refused in 2021 on the basis the takeaway would negatively impact the area.
