A Telford charity has issued a plea for school uniform donations as it braces itself for 'the floodgates to open' in the coming weeks.
Telford Crisis Support has seen demand for donated uniform and PE kit double over the last year.
"As the school holidays arrive, it becomes the forefront of people's thinking again. We do run the service all year because children do wear uniform out or have growth spurts, but it does tend to accumulate at this time and become the most busy period so we are keen to get the message out. "We try to give people as much as we can but we are beholden to what comes in so it's a balancing act really."
