The Care Inspectorate has put the Troon facility in the spotlight.

A privately-owned Ayrshire nursing home that boasts its own bar, cafe, private dining, cinema room and hairdressing salon, has been placed under the microscope during an unannounced inspection.

The report goes on: “People were being supported by a staff team that knew them well and how they preferred to be supported and cared for. People looked “comfortable and very well presented,” said inspectors and they saw people “enjoying the hair salon” too.
