It was a busy evening for police
Nottinghamshire Police officers were called out over reports a vehicle crashed into a tree on the main road through Edwalton. The incident on the A606 Melton Road was reported on Saturday evening, December 10.
A man, who was alleged to have provided a sample of breath over the legal drink-drive limit, was arrested in connection with the incident. across the borough of Rushcliffe. On Saturday night, a vehicle was seized in Cropwell Bishop after it was alleged the driver had no valid driving licence. He was reported for summons over alleged traffic offences.A man was also interviewed on suspicion of possession of cannabis. It came after a man was stopped on Flawforth Lane, Ruddington.
In addition to these incidents, officers stopped around 100 vehicles on Friday, December 8, in Hollygate Lane, Cotgrave. A number of these drivers were breathalysed and nobody was found to be over the legal limit.
