It is the second fire at the Thornham Mill in just 15 months
Emergency services cordoned off a road after a blaze broke out at an abandoned mill on Wednesday night . Fire crews were called out to the incident at Thornham Mill in Royton.
The site, which has been mostly empty since the late 1960s, has since been left in a state of disrepair with a number of smashed windows. It was in April last year that the derelict building last went up in flames.A number of police vehicles were pictured at the scene at Oozewood Road on Wednesday night, as the street was taped off with fire crews tackling the blaze for just over an hour.
