Multiple forensics were seen in the Shawlands area yesterday afternoon, with a cordon in place and investigations being carried out. We can now confirm it is in relation to an attempted murder of a man in Glasgow.
A heavy police presence in the Shawlands area of Glasgow yesterday has been confirmed by police to be in relation to the alleged attempted murder of a man in Pollok.
An eyewitness told Glasgow Live: "There are several forensic officers at Mansionhouse Road. The street is currently closed at the junction with Langside Avenue.READ MORE: Harrowing final message sent by exam car crash victim to boyfriend before tragedyThe search was related to an incident which happened on August 13, in the Ladymuir Crescent area of Pollok.
A man, aged 35, was found badly injured and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Medics described his injuries as being serious but not life-threatening.
