🔥😮 Arson suspected in farm fire
Parts of a farm near Lincoln have been severely damaged in a suspected case of arson, prompting a police investigation.Smoke billowing from the scene was visible from as far away as Waddington.
The fire led to severe damage to a lean-to and its contents, a quantity of waste wood and approximately four tonnes of waste straw.A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue said: “Six appliances attended this incident, along with the water carrier. “Crews using breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hose reel jets and a main jet as well as the water carrier.A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said:"We are investigating a suspected arson at an address in Canwick Avenue which was reported to police at 3.03pm on July 19.
"Specialist forensic investigators and officers are now investigating the circumstances and attempting to identify the people responsible. "The fire is reported to have started at around 2.45pm, and we would be keen for anyone with information to get in touch quoting incident number 273 of July 19."
