The 'aggressive' animal escaped from a property before setting on the victims
A man who was arrested after a dog attacked two women in Oldham has been bailed, police have confirmed.
Both women were rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Officers shot the dog 'due to the number of people in the area and the injuries caused'.A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act. In an update issued this morning , a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said that he had since been bailed.
