A man who was arrested by police investigating a sexual assault at a pub in Stockport has been released under investigation, police have confirmed.
Police said they believed that five other women may had been assaulted. In an update issued today , a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the man arrested had been released under investigation.Anyone with any information should contact officers. Previously, Detective Inspector Chris Aunins of the Stockport Division, said: "Even though we have the male in custody, we are extremely concerned that there could be a number of other women who may have been sexually assaulted.
