Police make 4kg cannabis discovery worth £40k after stopping car on M6
Officers from Cumbria Police recovered 4kg worth of cannabis worth a potential £40,000 when the pulled over the vehicle near Kendal. The stop and search was carried out on Saturday .
Jhanzaib Gul and Joseph McCrory have been charged and both appeared before Barrow Magistrates Court yesterday . Gul, 50, of Rylstone Gardens, Bradford was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and released on conditional bail while McCrory, 42, of Forber Grove, Bradford was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of cannabis and remanded into custody.
"Both appeared before Barrow Magistrates Court yesterday . Jhanzaib Gul, 50, of Rylstone Gardens, Bradford was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis, he was released on conditional bail. "Joseph McCrory, 42, of Forber Grove, Bradford was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of cannabis and was remanded in custody."
