Anyone with information on the latest blaze which took place on Tuesday night is asked to contact police.
Police are investigating a third fire to have happened at a property on a Paisley street in the last 17 months.
The blaze on Tannahill Road is being treated as deliberate by police who are now appealing for information from the public regarding the incident. Cops received notification of a building being alight in the area around 10.20pm on Tuesday night. There were no injuries reported. The Paisley Daily Express reported earlier this month that another fire – the flames of which were visible from miles away – had occurred.
And in May 2022, another building suffered extensive damage as a result of a blaze. All three incidents were treated as wilful fireraising by police. The street is made up mostly of derelict buildings. A spokesperson from the Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Division said: “Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident 3998 of October 24, 2023.Don't miss the latest Renfrewshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter here
