Officers in Glasgow are appealing for information following a series of housebreakings in the West End of the city.
The incidents occurred between Thursday, August 24 2023 and Wednesday, September 13 at business premises on Byres Road, Great Western Road, Dumbarton Road, Gibson Street, Hyndland Road and Hyndland Street.Speaking on the matter, Inspector Mhairi Crawford said: “It is clear that the person or persons involved have absolutely no consideration for the owners of these businesses and the impact that these crimes will have on them.
“I am appealing to anyone who has any information regarding these break-ins or who may have any relevant CCTV or ring doorbell footage, to contact Police"Details can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.” "I would like to take this opportunity to remind business owners and members of the public to ensure that their properties are locked and secured to prevent any opportunists from carrying out similar incidents."
