The small vehicle would more typically seen on a track but had plagued neighbours in Fleetwood as it was driven round the streets. Officers from Fleetwood finally spotted the kart in action yesterday and swooped to seize the vehicle.According to a Facebook post on the Fleetwood Area Police page, officers were able to confiscate the kart on the basis of it being driven without valid insurance.
"After numerous reports of ASB driving, the vehicle was sighted being driven and dutifully seized under S165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 for having no insurance. Anti social behaviour can cause distress to local residents, and we will continue to crack down on these issues."
