Police forced to SHUT motorway after BMW driver got out of his car and jumped onto Kia's bonnet
Police were forced to close a major motorway this morning following a road rage incident involving a BMW driver.
Cheshire Police were called to the scene after reports that a BMW driver exited his vehicle and got onto the bonnet of a Kia Niro following an earlier altercation on the nearby A555.The motorway has since reopened to the public, but officers are said to have remained at the scene - where one man is being treated. The extent of his injuries haven't been confirmed.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At around 10.36am today police were called following reports of an incident on the M56 westbound between junction 6 and junction 7.
