BREAKING: Police have launched an urgent missing persons appeal
West Yorkshire Police are searching for a missing elderly man.
Austin Burke, 85, was last seen on CCTV leaving St James's Hospital. He left at 11am today and is believed to be still wearing the clothes he was captured in on the CCTV footage. The police say they have "significant concerns" about his welfare. He is described as being about 5ft 7ins tall and of medium build.West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are urgently appealing for information on Austin Burke, who has been reported missing from Leeds. Austin, who is 85, was last seen leaving St James’ Hospital at just before 11am today in the clothing in the CCTV image below.
"There are significant concerns for the welfare of Austin, who is described as being about 5ft 7ins tall and of medium build." If you have any information on his whereabouts, you can contact the police on 999, quoting log 0529 of 28 September.Read More
